Here’s a simple and delicious Keto Cauliflower Steak Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 large cauliflower
- 2–3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
- Optional: Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions:
- Prepare the Cauliflower:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the leaves and trim the stem of the cauliflower while keeping it intact.
- Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick “steaks.” (You’ll get about 2–3 steaks from one cauliflower; use the smaller florets for roasting).
- Season the Steaks:
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Brush this mixture generously on both sides of the cauliflower steaks.
- Roast or Grill:
- Arrange the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and tender.
- Alternatively, grill the steaks on a preheated grill for 8–10 minutes on each side.
- Add Finishing Touches:
- Sprinkle fresh parsley or cilantro before serving.
- For an extra kick, add grated Parmesan or a squeeze of lemon juice.
