Savory Chicken & Broccoli Cheddar Bake recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 3 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (if using breadcrumbs)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, steamed broccoli florets, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- If using breadcrumbs, mix them with olive oil and sprinkle over the cheddar cheese layer for a crispy topping.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the topping is golden.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
