Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

Ingredients:

  • 500g (1 lb) boneless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional: fresh parsley for garnish)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
    • Add chicken cubes to the bowl and coat evenly with the mixture. Let it marinate for 15–30 minutes (optional but enhances flavor).
  2. Assemble the Skewers:
    • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15 minutes to prevent burning.
    • Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving small gaps between pieces for even cooking.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Cook the Skewers:
    • Arrange the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
    • Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  5. Serve and Garnish:
    • Remove the skewers from the air fryer and sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese or fresh parsley on top for garnish.
    • Serve hot with your favorite dip or a side salad.
