Home Made Keto Mini Pizza Bowls
Ingredients:
- For the Base:
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- For the Filling:
- 1/2 cup sugar-free pizza sauce
- 1 cup cooked chicken or beef (shredded/diced)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Toppings of choice (pepperoni, olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Base:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until it forms a dough.
- Divide the dough into small portions and press them into muffin tins to form mini bowls. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- Prepare the Filling:
- Heat the sugar-free pizza sauce slightly in a pan.
- Mix the cooked chicken or beef into the sauce for added flavor.
- Assemble the Pizza Bowls:
- Remove the baked bowls from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Fill each bowl with a spoonful of pizza sauce mixture, followed by shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, and your favorite toppings.
- Bake:
- Return the filled bowls to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve:
- Let them cool for a minute, then carefully remove them from the muffin tin. Serve warm and enjoy your keto-friendly mini pizza bowls!
