This Slow Cooker Cheesy Burger Flavored Soup combines the rich, savory flavors of a cheeseburger with the creamy goodness of a hearty soup. It’s the ultimate comfort food for those who love a flavorful, cheesy soup that can be left to simmer in the slow cooker, making it the perfect meal for busy days.

Ingredients:

  • ½ white onion, diced
  • 2 tsp garlic, freshly minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp pickle relish
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces frozen Southern Style hash browns
  • 1 ½ cups Cheddar cheese, freshly shredded

Instructions:

  1. Sauté the Beef and Vegetables: Start by browning the ground beef in a large skillet, crumbling it as it cooks. Add the diced onion and frozen hash browns to the skillet and cook until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat before adding the garlic and sautéing until fragrant.
  1. Slow Cooker Setup: Transfer the cooked beef mixture to the slow cooker. Add the diced tomatoes with juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, pickle relish, and beef broth. Stir the ingredients together and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Slow Cook: Set the slow cooker to high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
  1. Add Cream and Cheese: After the soup has cooked, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and heavy cream. Cook for an additional hour to let the soup thicken and become creamy.
  2. Finish with Bacon: Stir in the crumbled turkey bacon just before serving for that crispy, salty touch.

Cooking Time: 4 hours on high or 7 hours on low

This slow cooker soup is a crowd-pleaser, full of flavor and perfect for anyone who loves the taste of a cheeseburger in a bowl.
