KETO CHAFFLE PIZZA

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp almond flour (optional, for a crispier texture)
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce (low-carb)
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • Toppings of choice: pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.

Instructions:

  1. Make the Chaffle Batter:
    • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, shredded mozzarella cheese, almond flour (if using), baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Preheat the Waffle Maker:
    • Preheat your waffle maker. Lightly grease it with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Cook the Chaffle:
    • Pour the chaffle batter onto the waffle maker and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Pizza:
    • Once your chaffle is done, spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on top.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
    • Add your desired toppings.
  5. Melt the Cheese:
    • Place the chaffle in the waffle maker again for another minute or so, just to melt the cheese and warm the toppings.
  6. Serve:
    • Once the cheese is melted, remove the chaffle from the waffle maker, slice, and serve immediately.
