KETO CHAFFLE PIZZA
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp almond flour (optional, for a crispier texture)
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce (low-carb)
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
- Toppings of choice: pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.
Instructions:
- Make the Chaffle Batter:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, shredded mozzarella cheese, almond flour (if using), baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat the Waffle Maker:
- Preheat your waffle maker. Lightly grease it with cooking spray or butter.
- Cook the Chaffle:
- Pour the chaffle batter onto the waffle maker and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Prepare the Pizza:
- Once your chaffle is done, spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on top.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Add your desired toppings.
- Melt the Cheese:
- Place the chaffle in the waffle maker again for another minute or so, just to melt the cheese and warm the toppings.
- Serve:
- Once the cheese is melted, remove the chaffle from the waffle maker, slice, and serve immediately.
