Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz/235 g) can of crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
- 2 cups (300 g) cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (50 g) shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional Garnish:
- Chopped fresh parsley
- Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Make the chicken filling:
- In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Assemble the crescent rolls:
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture (about 1-2 tablespoons) at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the crescent dough tightly around the filling, starting at the wide end and working toward the tip. Pinch any edges to seal the filling inside.
- Bake:
- Place the stuffed crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
