Weight Watcher Brownies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sweetener (like Stevia or monk fruit)
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (or almond flour for lower carbs)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup mini dark chocolate chips (optional, for extra indulgence)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper. - Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the applesauce, Greek yogurt, eggs, vanilla extract, and sweetener until smooth. - Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. - Blend and Fold
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix. If using chocolate chips, fold them into the batter. - Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. - Cool and Serve
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before slicing into 16 small squares for portion control.
