COOKING TIPS

Preheat the Air Fryer: Always preheat your air fryer for about 5 minutes before adding the batter. This ensures that the oil is hot enough to create that crispy texture.

Use Room Temperature Ingredients: For the best results, make sure your eggs and milk are at room temperature. This helps the batter rise better.

Don’t Overmix: Mix the batter until just combined. Overmixing can lead to dense Yorkshire pudding.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Let the batter rest for about 30 minutes.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. Add the vegetable oil or drippings to the air fryer basket and let it heat up for another 2 minutes.

Pour the Batter: Carefully pour the batter into the hot oil, filling each compartment of the muffin tray about halfway.

Air Fry: Cook the Yorkshire pudding in the air fryer for 15-20 minutes, or until they are puffed up and golden brown. Avoid opening the air fryer during cooking, as this can cause them to deflate.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the Yorkshire puddings from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite roast and gravy.
