Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or chopped)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- Low-carb or regular tortillas (4-6, depending on size)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Garlic Butter:
- In a small pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat.
- Make the Filling:
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked chicken, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, and mayonnaise.
- Add the Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and the prepared garlic butter. Mix well.
- Assemble the Wraps:
- Lay a tortilla flat and spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the center.
- Spread it evenly, then fold the sides over and roll up the wrap tightly.
- Cook the Wraps:
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Place the wraps seam-side down in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Serve:
- Slice in half if desired and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot with a side of marinara sauce or a low-carb dipping sauce.
