Homemade Air Fryer Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

1 cup warm water

2 tbsp oil

For the Toppings:

1/2 cup pizza sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, sausage, etc.)

Instructions:

Prepare the Dough:

In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.

Add the flour, salt, and oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).

Preheat the Air Fryer:

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Pizza Base:

Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

Cut the rolled-out dough to fit the size of your air fryer basket.

Lightly grease the air fryer basket and place the dough in it. Cook for 3-5 minutes to slightly firm up the base.

Add Toppings:

Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

Add your favorite toppings.

Cook the Pizza:

Return the topped pizza to the air fryer and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 7-10 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Serve:

Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy your delicious homemade air fryer pizza!
