Air Fryer Pumpkin Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Cut in the cold butter with a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, milk, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.
- Shape the Biscuits:
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and gently knead 2-3 times.
- Roll or pat the dough to about 1/2-inch thickness.
- Use a biscuit cutter or round cookie cutter to cut out biscuits.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Air Fry the Biscuits:
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line it with parchment paper.
- Place the biscuits in the basket, ensuring they do not touch.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the biscuits are golden and cooked through.
- Serve:
- Allow the biscuits to cool slightly before serving.
- Enjoy with butter, honey, or a drizzle of maple syrup!
