Young woman spends $120k to transform into “Dragon Girl”
Amber Luke, a 20-something from Brisbane, Australia, has spent $120,000 transforming herself into the self-proclaimed “Dragon Girl” through tattoos and body modifications. Her journey began at 16, evolving into a passion that now defines her identity. Amber has invested $50,000 in over 600 tattoos and $70,000 in surgical procedures, including tattooing her eyeballs—a process that left her temporarily blind for three weeks—and splitting her tongue.
Once resembling a typical “girl-next-door,” Amber is now virtually unrecognizable. Despite criticism, she credits her transformation with saving her from severe depression and suicidal thoughts. “I was numb and hated myself,” she shared. “Now, I’ve become someone I’m proud of—a strong woman who knows what she wants.”
Amber’s dramatic changes, while startling to some, have helped her find confidence and purpose. Photos from her pre-modification days reveal the extent of her extraordinary transformation.
