Cinnamon Sweet Alabama Pecanbread
Ingredients:
– 2 cups pecans (finely chopped)
– 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1 cup vegetable oil
– 4 large eggs (beaten)
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray .
2. In a large bowl, blend the granulated sugar, brown sugar, beaten eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth .
3. Gradually mix in the self-rising flour, salt, and cinnamon, stirring gently until just combined .
4. Add the vanilla extract and fold in the finely chopped pecans .
5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish and spread it out smoothly .
6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean .
7. Allow the Pecanbread to cool in the dish for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving .
