Air Fryer Shrimp
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for 3-5 minutes.
- Prepare the Shrimp:
- Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
- Cook the Shrimp:
- Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and slightly crisp on the edges.
- Serve:
- Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve with lemon wedges.
