Ultimate Egg and Bacon Sandwich

Ingredients:

🥓 4 slices of crispy bacon

🥚 2 large eggs

🍞 2 slices of bread or 1 sandwich roll

🧈 1 tbsp butter (for toasting bread)

🧀 1 slice of cheddar cheese (optional)

🌱 1-2 lettuce leaves (optional)

🍅 2 slices of tomato (optional)

🧂 Pinch of salt

🧂 Pinch of black pepper

🌶 Dash of hot sauce (optional)

Instructions:

1⃣ Cook the bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Lay the bacon slices flat in the pan and cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on a paper towel. 🥓✨

2⃣ Prepare the eggs: In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook to your preference:

Sunny-side-up for a gooey yolk. 🍳

Scrambled for a softer texture.

Season with salt and pepper.

3⃣ Toast the bread: Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Toast in a clean skillet or toaster until golden brown. 🍞🧈

4⃣ Assemble the sandwich:

Layer the lettuce and tomato slices (if using) on one slice of bread. 🍅🌱

Add the bacon, cooked eggs, and cheese (optional) on top.

Drizzle hot sauce if desired, then top with the second slice of bread.
