Ingredients:
- 6–8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder (optional, for spice)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Prepare the Chicken:
Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin. - Season the Chicken:
In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder (if using), oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss the drumsticks in the seasoning mix until evenly coated. - Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes. - Cook the Drumsticks:
Place the drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through. The internal temperature of the drumsticks should reach 165°F (74°C) when done. - Optional Finish:
For extra crispy skin, cook for an additional 2–3 minutes. - Serve:
Let the drumsticks rest for 3–5 minutes before serving. Pair them with your favorite dipping sauce or a side of veggies!
