Ingredients:

  • 6–8 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder (optional, for spice)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.
  2. Season the Chicken:
    In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder (if using), oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss the drumsticks in the seasoning mix until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Cook the Drumsticks:
    Place the drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
    Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through. The internal temperature of the drumsticks should reach 165°F (74°C) when done.
  5. Optional Finish:
    For extra crispy skin, cook for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  6. Serve:
    Let the drumsticks rest for 3–5 minutes before serving. Pair them with your favorite dipping sauce or a side of veggies!
