- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- ½ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ribs:
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for tenderness.
- Cut the rack into smaller sections that fit in your air fryer.
- Season the Ribs:
- Rub the ribs with olive oil.
- Mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne (if using).
- Massage the spice rub onto the ribs, ensuring they’re well coated.
- Preheat & Cook:
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Place the ribs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Add BBQ Sauce & Finish:
- Brush BBQ sauce on both sides of the ribs.
- Increase temperature to 400°F (200°C) and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the sauce caramelizes and ribs reach an internal temperature of 190°F-200°F for fall-off-the-bone tenderness.
- Serve & Enjoy:
- Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce and your favorite sides!
