For more than a week, a frail black dog roamed the streets—li.mp.ing, [fr.ighte.ned], and shrinking away from every hand that reached for her. [A.ban.do.ned] and [be.tr.a.yed], she no longer believed in people.
Deputy Keith Stokes tried again and again to rescue her, but she always slipped away.

Then Officer Megan Feidler chose a different approach—she lowered herself to the ground, spoke in a calm, soothing voice, and waited. Slowly, the trembling dog surrendered, lying down beside her. With patience and care, Feidler slipped a leash gently around her neck.😞

God Bless this Officer for all she has done for this poor Precious furbaby. Hope this Officer was able to keep this Precious Baby.❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹
