A [he.artbre.aking] scene has moved people around the world: a tiny kitten sleeping in its mother’s arms, unaware that she had already [pa.ss.ed aw.ay].
On the 29th of last month, a photograph shared on media showed the kitten resting beside the [li.fele.ss bo.dy] of a cat in León, Spain. The kitten, exhausted from hours of crying, finally drifted off to sleep next to its mother, who is believed to have [di.ed] from the [ex.tre.me] summer heat.
Witnesses said the little one stayed close and cried day and night, unable to accept the [lo.ss]. A nearby resident, touched by the sight, called a local fire station for help.
A firefighter arrived and safely rescued the kitten, who had been alone beside its mother for quite some time. The kitten is now receiving care at an animal hospital and is reportedly gaining strength.
The firefighter who saved the kitten also took the touching photograph to preserve the final image of mother and baby together.
