Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers
Ingredients:
- 500g (1 lb) boneless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried parsley (optional: fresh parsley for garnish)
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions:
- Prepare the Chicken:
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add chicken cubes to the bowl and coat evenly with the mixture. Let it marinate for 15–30 minutes (optional but enhances flavor).
- Assemble the Skewers:
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15 minutes to prevent burning.
- Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving small gaps between pieces for even cooking.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Cook the Skewers:
- Arrange the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Serve and Garnish:
- Remove the skewers from the air fryer and sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese or fresh parsley on top for garnish.
- Serve hot with your favorite dip or a side salad.
