5-INGREDIENT SLOW COOKER STEAK FAJITAS

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak or skirt steak
  • 1 packet fajita seasoning mix (or homemade seasoning)
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth (or water)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Steak: Season the steak with the fajita seasoning. If using a homemade seasoning mix, simply rub the steak evenly with the spices.
  2. Layer the Ingredients: Place the sliced bell pepper and onion at the bottom of the slow cooker. Lay the seasoned steak on top.
  3. Add Liquid: Pour the beef broth (or water) over the steak and veggies. This will help create a flavorful sauce as it cooks.
  4. Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the steak is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
  5. Shred and Serve: Once cooked, remove the steak and shred it using two forks. Mix the shredded steak back with the vegetables in the slow cooker.
  6. Serve: Serve the fajitas in warm tortillas, topped with your favorite toppings like sour cream, guacamole, or cheese.
