Air fryer pineapple

Ingredients:

  • 1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and sliced into rings or chunks
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for caramelization)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional, for added flavor)
  • Cooking spray or melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pineapple
    • Slice the pineapple into rings or chunks, depending on your preference. Pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Season the Pineapple (Optional)
    • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
    • Lightly brush the pineapple slices with melted butter or spray with cooking spray.
    • Sprinkle the sugar-cinnamon mixture evenly over the pineapple.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer
    • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3 minutes.
  4. Cook the Pineapple
    • Place the pineapple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding for even cooking.
    • Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are caramelized and golden brown.
  5. Serve and Enjoy
    • Let the pineapple cool slightly, then serve as a snack, dessert, or topping for yogurt, ice cream, or grilled meats.
