Air fryer pineapple
Ingredients:
- 1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and sliced into rings or chunks
- 2 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for caramelization)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional, for added flavor)
- Cooking spray or melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Pineapple
- Slice the pineapple into rings or chunks, depending on your preference. Pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Season the Pineapple (Optional)
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Lightly brush the pineapple slices with melted butter or spray with cooking spray.
- Sprinkle the sugar-cinnamon mixture evenly over the pineapple.
- Preheat the Air Fryer
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3 minutes.
- Cook the Pineapple
- Place the pineapple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding for even cooking.
- Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are caramelized and golden brown.
- Serve and Enjoy
- Let the pineapple cool slightly, then serve as a snack, dessert, or topping for yogurt, ice cream, or grilled meats.
