Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
    • Cut in the cold butter with a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    • In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, milk, and brown sugar until smooth.
    • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.
  2. Shape the Biscuits:
    • Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and gently knead 2-3 times.
    • Roll or pat the dough to about 1/2-inch thickness.
    • Use a biscuit cutter or round cookie cutter to cut out biscuits.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Air Fry the Biscuits:
    • Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line it with parchment paper.
    • Place the biscuits in the basket, ensuring they do not touch.
    • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the biscuits are golden and cooked through.
  5. Serve:
    • Allow the biscuits to cool slightly before serving.
    • Enjoy with butter, honey, or a drizzle of maple syrup!
