Garbage Bread
Garbage Bread Recipe Eat or pass?
Ingredients:
1 package refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
1 lb ground beef (or sausage)
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
1/2 cup diced onions (optional)
1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
1/4 cup pizza or marinara sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare Filling:
In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
Add onions and bell peppers if using, and cook until softened.
Stir in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Roll Dough: Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
Assemble:
Spread a thin layer of pizza or marinara sauce over the dough.
Sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses evenly.
Add cooked ground beef mixture and bacon (if using).
Roll Up: Carefully roll the dough into a log, starting from one long side. Pinch the edges to seal.
Bake: Place the log seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Slice and Serve: Let cool for a few minutes, then slice into pieces. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
Tips: Customize with your favorite fillings—pepperoni, spinach, mushrooms, or any leftovers work great!
Enjoy your cheesy, savory Garbage Bread!
