Air Fryer Fried Pickles

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dill pickle chips, drained and patted dry
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for 5 minutes.
  2. Set Up a Dredging Station:
    • Bowl 1: Place the flour.
    • Bowl 2: Beat the eggs.
    • Bowl 3: Combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the Pickles:
    • Dip each pickle chip into the flour, shaking off excess.
    • Dip it into the egg, ensuring it’s fully coated.
    • Press it into the breadcrumb mixture, coating evenly. Repeat for all pickle chips.
  4. Air Fry:
    • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray.
    • Arrange the coated pickle chips in a single layer without overcrowding. Spray the tops with cooking spray.
    • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
