Air Fryer Roast Beef
Ingredients:
- 2-3 lb beef roast (sirloin, top round, or eye of round)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Beef:
- Take the roast out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature.
- Pat the roast dry with paper towels.
- Season the Roast:
- Rub the roast with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and rosemary.
- Evenly coat the roast with the seasoning mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Cook the Roast:
- Place the roast in the air fryer basket or on a rack.
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes to create a seared crust.
- Lower the temperature to 360°F (180°C) and cook for 30-45 minutes, depending on the desired doneness:
- Medium-Rare: 130-135°F (55-57°C)
- Medium: 135-145°F (57-63°C)
- Medium-Well: 145-155°F (63-68°C)
- Rest and Serve:
- Remove the roast from the air fryer and tent it with foil.
- Let it rest for 10-15 minutes to retain its juices.
- Slice against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
