Air Fryer Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Shrimp:
    • Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel.
    • In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
  3. Cook the Shrimp:
    • Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary.
    • Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and slightly crisp on the edges.
  4. Serve:
    • Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve with lemon wedges.
